Innovation Ecosystem Program Manager

Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, the Innovation Ecosystem Program Manager will be responsible for developing and leading processes to build internal networks to identify innovation-focused project opportunities, identifying and formalizing partnership opportunities and leading and executing projects with multiple stakeholders.   

Type: Permanent, Full Time Location: Atlantic Canada

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engaging as a thought leader with world-class researchers in academia, industry, and government
  • Developing strong and trusted relationships with OSC members and key stakeholders
  • Responsible for the coordination and communication of ongoing projects
  • Guiding proponents in developing project proposals, including full development of key milestones, strategy, and outcomes
  • Presentations and report updates to senior leadership team, project partners, and key stakeholders
  • Coordinates and facilitates workshops and meetings with working groups
  • Tracking project agreements and supporting controller with reporting requirements
  • Actively managing portfolio of high impact innovations projects
  • Working with innovation communities, future members, and stakeholders to evolve and refine Innovation Ecosystem programs

Required Competencies 

  • Post-secondary degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Personable, presentable, articulate and able to work effectively with a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administrative, organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to research, collect, and analyze information
  • Proficient technical skills (i.e. MS Office)
