Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Office Manager will bring a reliable, well–organized approach to managing the day to day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Office Manager will be responsible for providing confidential support to the Executive team, develop intra-office communication protocols, streamline administrative procedures and assist in the daily operations of the organization. 

Type: Permanent, Full Time Location: Atlantic Canada

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential support to the Executive team, including managing schedules and travel requirements
  • Develop organizational procedures and systems for the efficient management of the organization
  • Manage corporate and general email box and routing
  • Manage day-to-day routine correspondence
  • Manage committee meeting scheduling and planning
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Executive team
  • Assist the finance function as needed
  • Provide logistical support for regional workshops and seminars

Required Competencies

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma program with a focus on Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in similar role
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. MS office)
  • A track record of working in a high-paced environment focused on delivering results
