Atlantic Canada’s economic future is looking brighter. As vaccination rates increase, restrictions are being eased and borders reopened. But the various shutdowns have been hard with uneven effects across the economy and industries facing different recovery prospects.
Join us online this fall for APEC’s annual business Outlook conference. We will help you understand where we are, where the pressure points remain, what the recovery will look like in 2022 and the longer-term prospects, opportunities and challenges.
APEC’s economists will share their economic outlook and insights for each Atlantic province. A panel of leading Canadian economists will provide their perspective on the outlook for the Canadian and global economy and what this means for the Atlantic region.
We plan to return to in-person events in 2022.
For each session you register for you will gain access to:
- The live webinar and an opportunity to chat with presenters
- A copy of the presentation slides
- A recording of the webinar
- APEC’s Atlantic Economic Outlook publication with full details of our economic forecast and outlook for 2022

The conference will span two full days and feature up to 20 exhibitors in a trade show as well as including an array of interesting speakers and panels addressing the full scope of the sector that ABCMI represents. With over 200 delegates expected to attend over the two days, this event will present numerous opportunities to connect with other companies, provincial and federal governments, academia, and other industry stakeholders. The Sponsorship Opportunities for the BOC are now available. Take a close look at them as they present a great deal including registrations, exhibit booths and a multitude of exposure methods showcasing your business to all that take part in the conference.
By order of the Provincial Health Officer (PHO), proof of double vaccination is required to attend the Business Opportunities Conference.
We ask that companies only register 2 conference delegates in order to include as many as possible. This is sure to sell out so get your ticket early. A waitlist will be taken.

Let’s initiate a deeper understanding of the transition trails that are of vital interest to our maritime ecosystem; from special ships, port logistics to neighbouring industries. Four major themes will dominate the Europort 2021 agenda.
