The project will create a platform for the development, validation and commercialization of digital twins for a range of applications in Canada’s offshore as well as for other ocean industries, while also building capabilities to support the increasingly digital ocean economy and the future opportunities it presents.
This made in Canada solution will create new domestic and export opportunities, supply chain opportunities, and create 15 new jobs. The data derived from this project will support additional ocean technology opportunities for Canada.
This Ontario-led project brings together SMEs and other partners in ocean innovation to provide cost-effective integration of ocean energy generators into communities.
